The Dirt on 10 New Irises You Need to Grow

By Kelly Norris   Thu, Apr 22, 2010

After returning from national convention in 2009, I decided to make a hit list of some of the newest irises on the market.  Lots of new cultivars enter the trade.  I like several.  But I dislike even more.  Breeders need to step it up when it comes to originality and distinctiveness.  Remember, new isn't always better.  Here's a list of some of my top picks, most of which are or will soon be available at Rainbow Iris Farm (www.rainbowfarms.net).   Check out our page on Facebook and post comments about your favorites!
